    Hi guys:

Toni - you'll look fabulous whatever you wear - although I must admit I can 'see' you in a frothy pastel empire line dress (and it works with a 'bump' too if necessary;) ).

Gert - drink it first - then he can't get that drunk....:D

Stressed - glad meetings went well - sending positive vibes your way. :A

    The Mardi Gras 4 - well done girls - have a blast.:j

All those poorly, recovering or with sicky kids/dogs/ohs - hope things get better quickly.

Easter - lovely to hear that your nephew wants contact - even if only to 'touch base'.

KKK - hope things move faster for you and it gets sorted

bbthree - I don't see how a panel couldn't take the public vote into account - makes it a bit pointless otherwise iyswim - so fingers crossed for you.

Ummm, hugs, best wishes, condolences and big vodkas where needed .

Oh, and I am a numpty :rotfl: - do you remember the haggis I won and couldn't work out where from...... turns out when I checked the actual haggis it WAS a veggie one, albeit sent in a 'normal' box......:o :o

Had a mixed day yesterday :- was lucky enough to be given two carrier bags of bead/jewellery making stuff:j :j - loads and loads of it (from freecycle) - really gobsmacked - might have to fight daughters to get a look in....:D Then went into 'big' town (half an hour away) to see if Lush had any bags left - ran out on Wednesday....so that was moneysaving:p Got DD2 a pair of trainers for £4 in the sale, and spent the grand total of £1.75 in QD sale.....got lots of stuff for next Christmas....

Hi not sure if I'm posting in the right place.
But can anyone help with this :

"An author wrote a story (not a book) it was only read by only a thousand people
but was deemed to be an incredible success. Why?"

First thought was - Shakespeare - not many people would have 'read' it .

    probably waaaaaaay out.:rotfl:

    Morning,

I'm trying to enter this comp http://www.pricestretcher.co.uk/p.php?compid=5 (win £100 to pay off your Master Card on pricestretcher.com) and I know the first three answers to the question
"Name 3 different MasterCard providers and the Type of card that offer an Introductory APR of 0.0% !" - Virgin Money, MBNA and Bank of Scotland but can't find the answer to the 0% APR bit... any help would be gratfully appreciated.

    Thanks,
I rang in with Shakespeare last week - wrong!

    Other wrong answers;
    Only printed on internet
    Only read by braille
    Only read by prisoners
    Only printed in Esparanto

Was a clue last week - something to do with a plane.
I tried with - 1000 leaflets were dropped from a plane in a remote village and the info saved loads of lives. - Wrong!
The 'story 'was written in English

EDIT. update. someone's come near to answer. But not correct. Something to do with a 'tattoo' and a plane.
Quiz over 'till next Sunday. Going to drive me mad - it's been going on for 5 weeks.
PS. I like this friendly forum - will come back

    :hello: Everyone,

I had breakfast then got dressed then went for a walk along the seafront,I had gloves on my hands as It was so cold and they kept my hands warm.

I saw lots of foam which blew about and the sea was very rough.

Off to Mums today too for lunch.

    Love and light,

    Katie xxx
