YAY...got a MSing job tomorrow on Chester; used to go there with my grandparents as a treat when they were alive and living in North Wales; only been there once since to work at the racecourse. I'm excited.

No wins but entered 84 comps today. LoL.

I've made a veg chilli for tea, but it's possible I've made a bit too much - it's so hard to judge quantities when you're cooking for one! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:



Am loving the slow cooker though - just over £5 the lot, & 115 calories/portion :eek:

Ooh yeah, recipe would be great!! My recipe: Jar of Uncle Bens chilli con carne sauce and chop up a selection of veg, whatever's reduced in Tesco that night.

Afternoon all only just maaged to get on today - been the dr and has a nap as i was exhautsed!!!!

The dr has given me some better tablets so hopefully these will work.

'Tis a bit of a 'use up what's in the veg box' recipe - this one has 2 courgettes, 2 (fairly soft :rotfl:) yellow peppers, 2 red peppers, 600g button mushrooms, 3 onions, 2 tins drained kidney beans, 1 tin chopped tomatoes, 1 tin cherry tomatoes, 3 cloves garlic, 3 homegrown dried chillies & lots of black pepper then add a green pepper & some cornflour an hour before the end - all chucked in the slow cooker. Also nice with aubergines, or butternut squash - just depends what I have in

I've jsut started getting into comping and I use a certain website beginning with an L (not sure if I can mention it). I find that website really useful because it lets you almost progress one comp at a time.

My question is, has anyone got to the stage where they have entered *every* competition on the site?" Just interesting to know if anyone uses that tactics.

The only pity is you can't easily use the tracker for say "all comps ending tomorrow and in the prize category xxxx xxxx xxxx".
