The characteristic early symptoms of chickenpox include a low-grade fever and tiredness. However, these classic early symptoms do not always occur before the chickenpox rash begins. When the chickenpox rash appears, it usually appears on the truck, face, or scalp first. This is often followed by 250 to 500 blisters that can appear over the entire body.

Sounds more like a virral (can't spell) infection - my friends LO had similar - take him to the doctors to check I guess is the only way to be sure'It Will be Mine in 2009' Challenge Member Number 88

yay Bella is back !! welcome home hunni
PP chickenpox is a possibility but I think all you can do is sit and wait and see if it develops, some kids get it worse than others so maybe your lo is having a milder case of it possibly or maybe more is to come or maybe its not even the pox... helpful aren't I !! I should be a doctor lol !!!!
Well I have half an hour before I go pick up the eldest from school and bring him and his 3 friends home for tea.... what the hell have I let myself in for, 4 8 year olds in one go, I dont suppose they are just going to sit quiet with a dvd now are they !! Roll on 7pm !!!!Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0 -

might be chicken pox if it's doing the rounds, although with all the bugs at the moment it might just be a non-specific viral rash..... I remember rushing round the doctors when DD1 was v. little 'cos she was covered - and it was nothing...:rotfl:
BELLA - glad you're home now
RCB/SOD/EASTER - (((HUGS))) for you and yours.....
Everyone else - take your pick from - hugs if needed, commiserations, congratulations, well done, good luck, and best wishes.....:D

Bucks - glad I am not alone
I got some good kitchen scales at Argos but I can't remember what brand they were. They had a big round bowl on the top which is great for making cakes etc and I don't think they were expensive.
Bella - Welcome home!
PP - Little Dragon ran a fever and was very grumpy long before any spots appeared when he had chicken pox. Hopefully its just viral and will soon pass.Keep thinking positively
