    Hi everyone.

Thanks for all the congrats/best wishes messages on here and facebook - it means loads to me. Had a really good day. I am now officially graduated (again!) and had a lovely time. Strange with working at the uni an all - I knew everyone - but everyone was really happy for me and everso nice. Completely ruined this week's weigh in already as had latte plus raspberry and white chocolate muffin for breakfast with mum and dad, and then all you can eat chinese for dinner with mum, dad, nan and grandad. But I reckon I deserved to celebrate today!! Will work extra hard for the rest of the week before the weigh in on Monday and next week too to make up for it! OH had to work at grad but did get to see me graduate. Had such a nice day - hope the pics dad took come out ok!

Anyway, have read back very quickly:

Toniq - I've missed something somewhere but hope you are ok and will be back with us soon. Hugs.

Easter - I hope Neo recovers soon and there is nothing bad to come back from those results. Deserves some pampering I reckon... but it sounds like you're doing that already!

Stressed - I know it's hard but being positive can only be a good thing. I really hope your visit goes well on Saturday - praying for a dry day for you.

    RCD - No telly?! Argh!!

Ok so I know I've missed more than one person here and I'm really sorry! Hugs if you need them, a smile and a nod if that's more what you need, and a cheeky laugh if that helps!

    Splodz x

CHEEKY....got your message on Facebook...."You are an absolutely amazing lady"...I can't believe you remembered...

Thankyou hun for the message it means so much.. You were so important to me when I lost Sasha and your just as important to me now...:o

Well it was today. Me and John got him to vets at 9 this morning...He had a sedative and i gave him a cuddle and kiss and was very full up..I think it was history repeating itself...Vet phoned us to collect him at 2 so we got there at 1.30:rolleyes:...He has had the lump removed and also they removed a Toe and he has his leg in bandage and has to go back friday morning...We have to keep him off it as much as possible..John carried him from the vets to car and from car to house...I'm sleeping downstairs with him for couple of nights and have given him my best Faux Fur blanket as a treat...He has had Turkey and Rice for tea......He was still woozy when we collected him but he was so happy and making such a fuss of us.....They have sent the lump to be tested for I presume malignant or Benign Cancer and we will know within 10 days....

Awww bless him, hope he recovers quickly hun and the results all come back good xxx

I've got four pics of grad so far... here's one of me with a goofy happy smile taken by a friend:

And here is one of me and OH before the ceremony taken my mum on my little point and shoot digital camera:

Dad took loads on his digital slr so I really hope at least one or more of those looks good! He said he'd try and get them to me by the weekend.

(PS - OH is in a gown as he was an usher at the ceremony)

  • YAY!! Congrats on the graduation. :0)

Had a great MSE dinner tonight: 10p broccoli. :0)
  • Splodz, thanks for posting the pics, you look gorgeous and your Mum and Dad must be so very proud. What an achievement - Well done, I am so pleased for you, I had a tear in my eye. The world is your oyster!

Nicky, that picture you posted scared me. Maybe it's my negative frame of mind but it looks like something from a horror movie    . I'm gonna have serious nightmares now :rotfl:

Easter, I have said a little prayer that Neo makes a full recovery. They are members of our families and so special, it is clear how much you all love him and he is lucky to have you as I am sure your care of him will set him on the right road soon.

RCB, thanks to you and everyone else for getting me through to the end of this day. It has been a bad one but I am still here, and tomorrow is another day.
