I am miffed, to be honest. The job I do is based on events; and I replied as normal to the text from HO offering me to work, and I have not been confirmed to work; friends have so I know the messages went out; this is the first time I've been turned down and I'm not happy; this is my ONLY income right now but for many it's a bit on the side...

My 3 yo tv broke well out of 12 month warranty and I got Curry's to pay £300+ for the repair quoting trades descriptions act etc. While researching it I came across other people who'd claimed up to 4 or 5 years - how old's yours?

You must have more than one telly though surely? I could send you one of ours, we have them in every room except the loo and bathroom !!!! In fact we have 2 in the front room, sad but true !!!!

NO TV SINCE 2005???????????????????? How in the hell do you manage, girl?? :eek: :eek: :eek:

We did have another TV, but it got decimated in the flood, so were using our other one.

The only extra one we have now is the portable TV in Tom's room which probably won't suffice cos it's weeny.

We're still waiting for the payout for all our electrical goods from the flood(more than 18 months down the line!!! To55ers!) :mad:


So, I think we're going to have to go & get a lovely LCD TV from Currys this evening - I really don't think I can go any longer without my telly!! :rolleyes:

Toni - I know you don't always care for them but you'll get hugs anyway!! (I can make them more like bear hugs than girly hugs if that's any better for you??)
