I have tried to delete this by going to Control panel and Add and Remove. This did not work and MM keeps popping up.
Help required, please.
When I try to remove, I get a message that the file does not exist.

Try running - unins000.exe
located in C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey0 -
Rabbir1, many thanks for the reply. Sorry to be a Dimwit, but can you be a little clearer for me? I really don't have a clue how to go about your suggestion!0

This is if your using XP, not sure about Vista.
Click on "start",
click on " my computer",
double click on "c drive",
open the folder called "program files" in there open the folder called "mediamonkey" then double click the file called "unins000.exe"0 -
Fatster way = Click start, click "run"
paste "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\unins000.exe" into box
click ok.0 -
Thanks.
I found a file called, unins000 (without the .exe) I double clicked on that and it came up with an error message, 'does not exist. Cannot uninstall'.

You could try re-installing mediamonkey, then uninstalling it again.0

A google search offered this: (from http://www.mediamonkey.com/support)
To uninstall MediaMonkey or install a new version, MediaMonkey must not be
running. Occasionally however, after closing MediaMonkey, some files are
not immediately released by the Windows Operating System, preventing files
from being uninstalled or overwritten with new versions. To get around this
issue:
1. If MediaMonkey is running, close it.
2. Wait 15 minutes
3. Attempt to uninstall MediaMonkey or install the new version
4. If the problem persists, then Shut Down Windows and restart your PC
and then try step 3 again.0 -
Thank you both for the replies. I installed it again and then uninsalled it. I think that solved the problem.
Thanks.0
