on 29th december, i recieved a call from sky offering me a "special promotion" of £5 a month for movie channels. i accepted although i usually decline these offers.
i have just checked my online bill and see my bill has gone up from £18.50 a month to £42.50 shouldn't it be £23.50 per month?
i called sky and spoke to two members of staff that were not very helpful, all i was advised was to call back on 29th january to cancel the package.
i am not happy at all and want the package cancelled and my payments reimbursed, please advice on what i shall do.
kind regards

I would be tempted to put your complaint in writing, stating all the above facts, making the letter sound assertive but not aggressive - had real issues with AOL last year and no amount of phoning them solved the problem so I resorted to putting it in writing and got sorted in the end. Perhaps use registered post so you know they received it.
I think this is the address for Sky Complaints

oh and make sure you save a copy of your letter, handy if you have to send another one and you can then enclose a copy of the original.
good luck.0 -
