Just a little warning about the price of Creme Egg's in Tesco.
The 3pks are £1.29, but if you buy 3 single loose eggs, it comes to just £1.09 as a multisave, plus you can mix & match with other cadbury small eggs.

Another example of supermarkets trying to rip people off by banking on people not checking these things. £1.29 for a 3 pack is extortionate.
Down with Tesco.0 -
£1.22 for a 6-pack is awesome.0

Always seems that the best offers are in stores that are no-where near me
We're only a small town, we have a Tesco, Morrison's, Lidl and that's it aside from a few independent stores. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
For Creme Eggs the big supermarkets never have the best deals. It's the same for single cans of soft drinks too.
Mind you most places beat WH Smith which I noticed were trying to sell single Creme Eggs for 56p each.0 -
Just before Easter last year Asda were selling a box of six for £1. Have to see what they do this year.0

only £1.22 for a 6 pkt at co-op
Just wanted to say THANK YOU for that, there is a co-op near and I do not often pop in but after you post I dived in yesterday and bought 5 packs at £1.22 pack.
I nearly fell over when I bought 1 a couple of weeks ago at 45p I think in Tesco as needed it to test the chicks I'm knitting for my 30 darlings at school so was baulking at having to shell out that amount for the eggs but at 20p each, much more reasonable. :rotfl:
1 chick complete, 29 more to go!!0 -
does the pack of 3 come with a package to hold all 3 eggs?
If so there is cost of this packaging and probably addational labour costs to assamble the pack.
So in reality it costs more due to the fact it cost more for the manufactorer to make it and thus more for tesco to sell it at.
Other shops may be cheaper, but tesco margin as a % is probably the same on both.0
