I have used AVG for some years now(and like it)
As a Barclays Customer I got Kapersky free. Is it any better than AVG?
I already installed it but don't think is as good as AVG(at least the procesor use is not)
In terms of AntiVirus is Kapersky any better than AVG?
Thank you.

You may want to turn off the automatic scan everytime you bootup on Kaspersky. That's whats most likely canning the processor.
I'll take Kaspersky currently over AVG anytime, even if I had to pay for it.0 -
Kaspersky is WAY better than AVG (In every single way going):idea:0

Thanks.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -

I'd say Kaspersky too, however, I have had teething problems with it.My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.0

Just to be different, I'm running Avast on all my PCs. www.avast.com0

I'm running Avast too, I used AVG for quite a few years but recently I changed to Avast. AVG was updating itself only intermittently and when I tested a few known infected files through it it didn't detect them. This was even on a freshly installed PC. I just kind of lost confidence in it and that's really what I'm looking for in an AV package. I need to be confident it's protecting my PC.0
