Hi, we're thinking of going to Windsor Castle this weekend but apparently the State Appartments are closed. This means the ticket is down to £8.50pp (instead of the normal £15.50).
Is it still worth a visit without seeing the state appartments or should I wait until they reopen and pay full price?
Many thanks in advance

I remember when I went to Windsor castle last year that you were able to get your ticket stamped on the way out so that you can go back as many times as you like for a year. If this is still correct, then maybe you should go whilst the price is £8.50 and if you don't forget to get the tickets stamped before you leave, then you can go back and visit the state appartments whenever you like.0
