:hello: A first time poster after taking advantage of this website for a while now and would have to say it has helped me a great deal in understanding finances in general. Great Work Martin and other posters as well!!!
After going through other threads regarding current accounts i was uanble to see any with information regarding the abbey current account deal going on at the moment- does anyone know more about this ? I am currently with Barclays with an overdraft facility of £1600 which i do use and would like to keep - but i am not happy with them and would like a new current account? Any ideas of which to go for?
Thanks

I don't see anything interesting in this 'deal'.
For best deals read Best Current Account article and discussion.
I have many accounts including Barclays, but my main account is always with Nationwide. You can find a fresh information about it in my post in this thread: Current Account with no upper balance limit? . My overdraft limit is £2000 - I just don't need more. It is also the best for overseas use: The cheapest way to spend overseas: save 6% . Online banking is one of the best too.0
