When I insert a DVD into my PC's DVD drive, CyberLink Power DVD automatically kicks in. When I attach a device (iPod, USB stick ...) into a USB port, Adobe Photoshop Album automatically invokes.
Both of these are annoying. Anyone any idea how I can disable this so nothing automatically happens?

Open My Computer, Right click on the device you want to change settings for and go to Properties. Click the AutoPlay tab and make any changes you want to make. I think in your case you'd want to select "Select an Action to Perform" and "Take No Action".0

Thanks for that. It didn't work though, other than to stop the list-of-action box from appearing. These two programs still kick in though.
Would welcome any other suggestions.0 -
There might be an option within these two applications that prevent them from both kicking in (take a look in Options or Settings within these applications)BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!
