Still worrying!

It's funny how you go up and down with this. I had my OR call today, as explained in another thread, but I am wide awake at 3 in the morning worrying about some of the debts I couldnt explain, purely by not remembering. Will they pursue this? Sorry to be a pain. x

Unlikely so please dont worry. I had 105k debt when i went BR built up over 15 years and i could not explain how i got to that.
The OR has to ask these questions so they know nothing underhand has happened but also the OR's are up to there necks and by the state of this country they are going to get a hell lot busier so i doubt they are looking into much at all.
Im sure if they were not happy they would have said in the phone so dont worry and get on with your life now and if something comes up you can face it then. |Thats what i do and im 7 months into my BR now.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

I know how you feel, mine was yesterday. When I did sleep I dreamt about it. I have a possible BRO hanging over me for 5 years. The examiner is 50/50 as to give me one. He said he wants to go away from it for a few weeks and then go back and re read all paper work and then he will decide. It could take 6 months, just do not if I have it in me to go to court again and explain in more detail. Part of me wishes I was still juggling creditors.0

Why do you think you might have to go to court again? I dont think you go back to court i think BRO's are dealt with by the OR.
But also BRO's are extremely rare as i am sure the more experienced members of this forum will tell you.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Because that is what the examiner said, he said that he would come back to my case in a few weeks, re read and see how much of teh loan went to my creditors and as the loan is 20 percent of the debt I went br for it would if he decided to tak it further carry a 5 year BRO. It would mean maybe a face to face interview, a letter from me explaining why and then to court.
If he hasnt applied one befor by year is up then can he not apply for one after. It is going to be a long year waiting. All advice welcome as I am going out of my mind.0 -
K2nga this is how a BRO/U is sorted out

I am feeling at my lowest ever right now so I may have misunderstood the last post, why would you need protecting from me.
I stupidly accepted a loan in 2008 which may lead to a BRO, I am not a bad person I just got into a mess and until I sought advice thought I would be living like this until the day I died. The OR is to look at my case again, I am sure if he had all the amounts I had paid creditors for all these years, compared to how much I went br for he will see they have had their money back time and time again.
I am scared stiff and right now regret going bk. My life is on hold and right now there is no future.0 -

Hey nida, don't worry - it was just a joke. It is just the terminology on the Insolvency pages.
Try not to worry too much over this - it is so easy for me to say I know.... but, what is done is done and you can't change it now. You will make yourself poorly and it really isn't worth it.
I am sure things will not be anywhere near as worrying as you imagine they could be..... wait and see, keep posting, we will support you all the way.

Hiya Jules,
Just wanted to say please dont worry about this, you have done the right thing, even if a BRO was put in place, it wont affect you any more than being BR would do, fair enough its for a longer period but am sure you wont want to be having credit, becoming an MP anyway, so it wont directly affect you, thats my understanding anyway. I wouldnt worry about it, I think the number of BROs put in place is a relatively low % of the number of people who go BR, so please dont waste valuable time and energy worrying about something that may not happen.
Keep thinking of the brighter future without the debt repayments crippling everything you do0 -
sorry hunny i was trying to cheer you up with a little tongue in cheek the jist really is that just because we are insolvent does not make us dangerous to the public.....and in your case taking a loan out when deep in trouble is not the end of the world :A
unless of course you have a secret identity or something..............
hug hug hug sorry babe x x:pBsc no 224
