Well I made the mistake of ordering something from 247 electrical. Stupid I know but there you go.
I actually had no problems up until the order was delivered. Now I knew as soon as I opened it that they had left out 1 of the 2 items I ordered but since they have taken payment for the full amount do you think they care?
They only way to contact them is via their website forms and I've had absolutley no response to that. Actually I lie - I had an automated email saying they respond within 24 hours and their current response time is 3 hours 15 minutes. Well that was last week. I've submitted another request to find out what is going on and haven't even received an automated response to that one.
I tried calling their 0700 number but that's just a sick joke - theres just a message saying they've turned their phones off because they're too busy tyo answer calls.
I can't return the order as I haven't received it yet. Can't cancel it as part of it has arrived and can't get a response from anyone.
Rant aside does anyone know what I can do? The order was for £150 and I paid with my credit card but the undelivered item is only £10. Would it do any good to contact my bank or am I going to have to chase up trading standards? I refuse to let them get away with even £10 of my money.
Thanks
K

I guess you should keep emailing them and in your next email say that you are copying the email to trading standards and are taking legal advice! Often gets their rears moving off the ground pretty fast - to put it politely!
I dont know whether it is worth speaking to the bank if it is only £10 you are on about but money is money after all - I guess it depends if the bank will charge or summat. In the end they still havent delivered an item you have ordered!
Chase them and dont let them get away with it - by the amount of times they appear on this vent board its a wonder they still have any customers!
