26.49% I believe is the Next rate

Yep, just checked & you're right. Also checked my credit card & thats 6.8% not 6.9%
  • Just applied for the Virgin card 0% for 16 months & I got accepted & given a £2400 credit limit!

Thats great news so the best option now is to pay your Next bill with your Barclaycard then do a Balance transfer of the entire Barclaycard balance to the Virgin card and hey presto, everything is now 0% for the next 16 months. :T

  • Hello Mum2princess,

If you have got a virgin card you can BT to your current account @0% and then pay off your Next bill.

I alluded to it in post #3 above.

Termed a 'money transfer' (see your Virgin T&C's), it pays cash into your current account at 0%. You can request this when you call to activate the Virgin card.

Just pay your Next bill online with your credit card, I did, no point in doing a balance transfer.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

OP has (an interest bearing?) debt on the Barclaycard.

I think the idea is to shift both balances to a 0% card?
