Hey big sender!!!

Hi,

recently set up a video/digi sender, which works fine with television/sky, though not if I

play a video or dvd, should it?

Thanks.

I had a similar problem. We have a TV with a built-in hard disk recorder. I can watch live TV, but if I try watching something on the hard drive or via the DVD player all I get is a blank screen (although I can hear audio, if I remember rightly).

Anyway, I assume it's some evil anti-copying protection in the TV that prevents the signal being output to the SCART sockets in these cases. TV manufacturers obviously don't trust their customers to operate the device responsibly.
