Smart car roadster
OK - So I have my heart set on one of these babies!
I think I'd like to buy from a dealer rather than privately as I'm assuming I'll have some kind of warranty with it or more protection at least, and also I'll be going for a used one.
What sort of questions do I need to be asking? Would I be able to haggle the price down - if so, by how much? I have some savings and I'd like to use part of them against the car and do the rest on finance - is it best to find my own finance or take it through the dealer or do I need to go make a whole other post in another part of the forum about that?
Any advice/help/opinions would be appreciated

I'll move this thread to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Ask them how long it takes for them to make some more egg boxes if you damage any panels in a crash?
On a serious note they are supposed to be pretty good, however in my humble opinion a lot of money for not a lot. Less is more i guess some people say.0

I can't imagine having the safety structure/Tridion on display is a good idea - form over function. One small side on bash and it's written off.The man without a signature.0

www.theroadster.net is a better site for roadsters.
I sold mine - they are overpriced for a not that well built car. Most leak, and that can lead to big bills for the replacement of the computer (SAM).
They are cracking to drive though, but very unpracticle - they are low, so not that easy to get in and out of, and because of this you need to open the doors wide to get in and out. Not easy in a supermarket when a numpty has parked six inches from you. If its a second / fun car then go for it, but otherwise consider very carefully0
