What can i say or do to not get these charges?

long story here,
over chrsitmas i went over my overdraft for about 2 days til i was paid & received a letter with substantial chrges heres what i went over by & what iv been charged.

amount Charge (paid item charge)
£6.50 £35
£6.65 £35
£12.78 £35
Going over agreed overdraft £28
Total amount over : £25.93
Total charges (plus interest) : £133:eek:

I went into my bank (Halifax) today & spoke to some one who said they could only remove 1 £35 charge & i said i want happy & stated i paid regular amounts of money (atlest £5oo + a week) . They doubled my overdraft about 5 months ago & i went over because of christmas & my wife losing her job before (now christmas is over i am clearing my overdraft)

I have an appointment to see the bank manager tommorow as i am not happy with this.
What should i say or do as i dont mind paying the unauthorised fee just not all the charges :money:

Can you not write directly to the Bank?

failing that, move to another account, say Alliance and Leicester. Aren't they offering £100?
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?

Unfortunately the way Halifax works means that at branch level they are unlikely to refund all the charges. You may be able to claim your charges back under the FSA Waiver on Bank Charges which is on my signature, PAGE 11
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
