As far as I know there is no scheme, well not in my area. It may be that some authorities do.
How are you going to pay the rent, bills, food etc without a job? Seriously, if I were in your shoes, I'd stay at home, where (I assume) it is relatively cheap and get yourself on your feet. Leaving the nest isn't always all it's cracked up to be!
Good luck.I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like?

I agree. Stay at home. How will you pay for everything on jobseekers allowance. There is council tax, gas, electric water, rent, phone bill, tv licence, groceries and many more costs involved. If you can't afford a bond and 1st months rent then you certainly can't afford to move out.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

Ask the council. But work out what you'll be paying out each month. It's a dear do.0

I doubt if the council will pay for this place you've found. Your best is probably to tell the council you are no longer able to stay with your parents (you will probably need a letter from then stating this) & go on the housing list & hoep you get something half decent. I'd stay at home until you have a stable job if I were you.1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Why don't you get a job first, then worry about moving out and saving up the money to do so.welshboi09 wrote: »i am currently claming job seekers allawance and wish to move out of my parents home. i have found a nice flat but i need to get 325 deposit and 250 fist months rent does any one now if there is any scheame or funding in place where i can claim this from.0 -
You could ask the housing executive or equvilent to pay the rent.....although in most instances this is paid in arrears.
