Anyone know the best and cheapest way of getting from airport and back - with car seats needed as 1- infant and 1- 3 yr old plus luggage. Worried about the safety issue of these seats using local services... and only need the vehicle to reduce transfer times to resort, so want to dropoff in resort then rehire for return journey. Taxis are an option but same issue with car seats as above....
Looking at Mahon, menorca
Palma, majorca
and Murcia/alicante holidays and making the transfers as easy and quick as possible with the 2 small boys and loads of luggage!!!
Anyone done these trips and can help??
cheers

I have used the ZarZa taxi on this website not with baby seats though. Maybe you could email them the question and check them out, unless you are looking for car hire firms abroad?0 -
For Murcia/Alicante transfers we used www.clydegrovegolf.com , we found their service + price great . ( its not just golf trips they do)0

If, and I think it is, the law is the same in Spain as UK you dont need to use child seats in taxis but you do in hire car. Therefore its down to you if you would feel safe in a taxi, also with hire car you'll need to rent it from hire compoany to ensure correct fittings.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

If you can drive and your going to menorca its cheaper to hire a car, i got a vw touran 7 seater last year for 200 pound for the whole holiday which was 10 days, i used easyjet and i took 2 booster seats with me.
We also had plenty of room for luggage, the island is not busy and you can travel from top to bottom in less than a hour.
I tried the shuttle buses and they wanted 25 pound each way, so to have a car it was the same but we had the car for the whole holiday, which always come in handy with small kids.

not sure if this is correct , 2 yrs ago we went to salou and booked a taxi transfer, a few weeks before we left we had an email asking ages of children as under 12 yr olds , or a certain height required a carseat/booster seat, not sure if it was company policy or if in fact it is now the law.0
