The NAS are not asking that he gets away with it they are asking for support so he can stand trial here in the UK.

I've signed it, added the link to my blog and to several mental health websites.
Even before the diagnosis, I had read about this case. The US governement want to throw the book at him because he embarrassed them. The so called damage is actually the costs involved in making the sight secure, a problem they wouldn't have even known about if Gary hadn't hacked them. It's misleading to say that he caused that amount of damage.
