I've been using this site since it's open. It has helped save me a fortune (along with helping me spend a lot more via the grabbit board - lol) - Anyway, the only thing I havnt changed is my phone package. I have had a look at the comparisons but can't really get my head around it?
My Line rental is with BT - £106 P/Q which includes the following:
My Broadband (which is limited to 256MB which restricts the bargains a lot) is with BT - (This is £17.99 P/M - part of the above figure)
I also have all calls through Equitalk - free calls anytime plan (whatever that is called - which costs me about £22/£23 P/M
Total yearly cost of phone/Broadband = (approx.) £700
Sorry if this is the wrong place, but it seemed as good as any.
FURTHER INFO: I cannot get cable in my area and it will not be available. I need broadband as I run my own website along with Ebaying regularly and more.
Between me and my partner (who works from home) we make approximately 150 call per months (average from our last 3 Equitalk statements). With about 20% mobile calls (not included in free calls). We very rarely phone abroad.
Due to the nature of my partners business, we are not able to stay by the computer most of the time to make free calls (ie skype etc.) so do need to use our landline.
I have a business mobile with free calls, but unfortunately the reception in my house is appaling, so cannot be used most of the time to replace mobile/foreign calls. My business will not let me change tariffs.
I hope that is enough info?

You appear to be on the exclusive call plan that allows you to make free calls to 01/02 numbers 24/7 .They should be charging you £10.99 a month for this.
£10.99p a month would allow you to make 366 calls a month to 01/02 numbers on 1899,at just 3p a call, and you dont pay when your on holiday.
As far as cutting the cost of your calls.
Keep your line rental with BT.
Put your peak 01/02 calls over 1899.
Sign up with Primus Saver 2 for free evening and weekend 01/02 calls.Which will reduce the cost of your 01/02 calls further!!!
Use 18185 for your Mobile and Peak 0870 calls.
Use https://www.dialaround.co.uk 0844 access number to make cheap peak 0845 calls.
Use your BT override service 1280 to put your calls to 0845/0870 numbers back through BT at E&W as they are cheapest.
Consider investing in an Orchid Dialler.PF.0
