Lost Student Oyster Cards

OP this is unfortunate, and I am pleased that you highlighted this issue. Fortunately for me I was not in a position to pay the full years oyster pass, so I would not have as much to lose, but would be frustrated none the less. The best advice I could give is to make sure that this is covered in your posessions insurance.
As GlasweJen suggested you could write to TfL, although I doubt that they will be much help. There is an unfortunate amount of bad advice given regarding the oyster system. Perhaps another route would be with the student union, as uni has to stamp all student oyster applications you could ask that they inform future students of this policy.Debt £5600 all 0%0
