I've been offered an old plasma tv (one with a seperate receiver/tuner), unfortunatley the tuner is knackered. Do I need a new turner or will it work if I just plug the V+ box into it and have this act as a tuner?

It should work if you can select the input that your V+ box is connected to no problem.

Do you want to let us know which plasma make and model it is? It might be absolute garbage for starters. But yeah, plugging in the virgin box will be fine

Should work OK with v+ box or Sky or Freeview Receivers.
