New PC - Guidance needed before I set it up

yes install it its windows XP service pack 2 it was going to be my first suggestion i made as it will stop some of the older viruses
get a copy of PC format or PC zone they have most of the spyware trojan blockers free
on the disc that comes with the magazine.
you get a good read and a few demo games as well !
I use ad aware
spybot search and destroy
AVG antivirus
microsoft antivirus
Mzzilla Firefox for browsing (its faster and more secure tha IE 5)
which are all FREE
I build Pcs for people and never have problems

it will already have SP2, will just need any updates since the thing was built, take about 5 minutes on broadbandEx forum ambassador
