Difference Between Corporate Bond and Corporate Bond Security

HI all,
I'm thinking of adding a bond fund into my stakeholder pension, I've got the choice of two:
Stan Life Corporate Bond
http://webfund6.financialexpress.net/clients/standardlife/fundFactsheet.aspx?type=retail&code=ZR74
Stan Life Long Corporate Bond
http://webfund6.financialexpress.net/clients/standardlife/fundFactsheet.aspx?type=retail&code=UR30
The normal one says it invests in "UK corporate bonds" whilst the long one says it invests in "UK corporate bond securities"
Can anyone point me in the direction of an explination of the differences? The non-long one seems to be more stable.
Cheers

Long bonds have longer maturities. The capital values are more sensitive to interest rate changes and are therefore more volatile.
I tend to look for funds holding bonds with shorter maturities. The returns are usually about the same for less volatility.0 -

It's either poor editing, or an extra word added for no reason.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0
