I want to email 18185 as they have not debited by account for my invoice yet and i think they should've done by now according to emailed monthly invoice. When i try and use their website however, all i get is a load of FAQs which obviuosly don't address this specific issue. Athough there are links saying "contact us" on the site, when i go on them, i am led back to the FAQs! I am going round in circles with it. It says on the website, they dont have a call centre to keep costs down but surely there must be some way of contacting them! The email they send the invoice from says "do not reply to this" on it so i am at a loss what to do. I seem to remember having to contact them about a year ago and there wasnt this problem. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Don't worry about it. They frequently leave it 2 months before invoicing you if the amount owing is not large but, if you've had email advice of an invoice, don't take too much notice of the date on which they say they'll be making the DD call - they often miss that date by weeks.
You could try service@18185.co.uk - I've had replies from that address before now.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
This happened to be, they took as long as three weeks to take thedirect debit and I was concerned as well. I did manage to email CS.0

Cunning plan if you're desperate to pay. Change your payment method or card and it will be collected vey quickly!RIP independent MSE.

Be careful with will-in-estorils advise, I too have been trying to get in touch with 18185. They told me my card details wouldn't work, I gave them new details, they said that wouldn't work either so I gave them my bank account details to take the money from there. They then proceeded to take payment from my bank and my credit card. No sign of the extra payment taken on my account details and there seems to be no way of getting in touch now. So please be careful if they start asking for new payment method if your money doesn't get collected, try transfering the money from your bank don't give them any more card details or access to your bank account.0

I use 18185 for my calls and have done so for about 6 months. The bills started off nice and low, but over the last 3 months have steadily increased. I have just received my lastest bill and it was a whopper! I went thru it with a fine tooth comb, it seems that some of the numbers dialled have been registering 1,2,3,4 and sometimes 5 times in the space of a minute, and so I have been charged up to 5 times for 1 call!
I too am looking for a way to contact them to query my bill, but like dolly74, the website takes you round in circles!! I will try the suggestion from Heinz and see if I get a reply.0
