Probably in the wrong place but all the dog walkers are on this board so it'll probably be seen here! I need some walking boots/trainers/shoes that are good for when I walk the Dog & a good price, comfortable & waterproof would help! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, My OH and i have two Border Collies, and live in the countryside.
We both invested in a good pair of walking boots, waterproof, comfortable, and non slip for those icy mornings.0 -
Try and find some karrimor thwy offer excellent value for money and somewhere normally has them on offer.

I find the mens exceptional value for money and fit me very well.
These might be better:-

I buy Hi Tec waterpoof walking shoes - they have a walking boot sole but more of a 'trainer' top - I think they are very comfy and you dont get wet feet from walking through long wet grass or landing in a puddle!!
Got my last pair from Tog 24 (I think) for about £25. This sort of thing -

A lot of people love these for dog walking - from cotton traders but I have never tried em!

I quite fancy a pair of the karrimor ones (2nd ones) hintza posted above - I have tried karrimor ones on before and they felt really comfy, but were not waterproof but I can see those ones are - makes a big difference to the enjoyment of walks IMHO!!0 -
They really are good value for money. I have been hunting high and low for a replacement pair. Mine are hardly ever off my feet and if you want more of a boot the 300's are great too.0

Do you have a TK Maxx? I've bought a few pair of walking boots from there, very cheap - including Timberland (£20ish?)Proud to be dealing with my debts :T
Don't throw away food challenge started 30/10/11 £4.45 wasted.

yeah, I have bought them from TK Maxx before, but often find it takes several visits before I find what I want in my size.. sometimes you hit lucky though!!
Look out for whether they are waterproof or not too - sometimes there are several versions of similar styles, and some are waterproof whilst others are not!0 -
I just bought a pair like these, they keep your feet as warm as toast:A

Another vote for TK Maxx, mum has just bought me a pair of dog walking boots from there as my xmas pressie. They were £50 and they're superb

They're quite unusual as they zip up the front rather than lace up.0 -
Yep, I have a TX Maxx, well two. One in town & one in the village, i'll definitely have a look! Hintza - i'll be getting some of those, £22.50 is a good price & they look to be just what I want, I live in trainers too so maybe I can wear them 24/7 lollll dya think they'll be comfy in bed? Thanks all! I'll go to TKM & buy some Hintza trainers yay0
