Hi
I'm going to Florida in august for the first time with my sister and her three teenage children.
I'm a bit confused about the park tickets.
Can anyone suggest the best place to get them at a good price, everywhere I've looked they cost different amounts.
Thanks in advance

Get them out there, i went to florida last year and spent over £300 on tickets from here but while out there we found a place that we sold our used tickets to. Its in kissimee I can get more details if you wish. But i will never buy tickets again from here only from there. Also i bought 14 day tickets and didnt go as much as we said we would so wish i would have bought tickets from that place instead.0

yep - get them out there - they have a confusing aray of tickets, and often have deals with hotels and local residents for special prices. Try things like craigslist as well (exercising the usual caution) If you have student cards take them with you and also over 60 age proof or AA club often all these things get extra discounts0

The last time we went was last July and the cheapest tickets we found for all the parks were here

We were advised to buy them over there as they would probably be cheaper but me being me wanted to have them well in advance.

Hi there, I don't know when you are going but watch out for the 2nd June for a few days.....I will explain. A few years ago we went to disney land with our friends - we all had small children. The first day the 2 hubbies walked ahead leaving my friend and I to manage like pack horses!Grrrr. The next morning my friend said the boys were in for a suprise and not to worry - she thought they would help with the kids more that day. When we got there the boys headed off again BUT soon returned when the got their bums pinched! It was gay disney day!!!!!! Some of the small child rides became like the tunnel of love (that small world one). To be fair, the behaviour was overall very good, its just I didn't like having to explain things to the kids before I felt would have naturally had, if that makes sense. It was terribly funny though..:rotfl:0

Hi Everyone.
Thanks for all the tips, we're going at the end of August for two weeks and want to do the usual Disney parks, Universal studios and wet 'n'wild one.
We're also hoping to go to the Piarate show as its next to out appartment block.0 -

Go see Medieval Times instead. We've been to Disney Orlando 6 times in 10 years and the Pirate Show is the only thing we didn't think very highly of.
I see the Blue Man Group have also arrived. Saw this show in Las Vegas last year. I'd highly recommend this as well.

Whatever you do you'll have a fantastic time!0 -

I'm also not sure about the pirate show, we were told last year it wasn't that good. We went to Cirque de Soleil and it was fantastic.
Another thing to do is to go to Crystal Springs (about an hour and a half away) and swim with mannatees. We went with Birds Underwater. An absolutely unforgettable experience, even though it's not the best time of year to see them.0 -
Ive been to Florida quite a few times... we went when the boys were around 7 or 8 and Disney was fantastic. You are never too old for Disney BUT you may find that Universal is a better park for teenagers. There used to be a flex ticket for both the Universal parks and it also included Seaworld (my fave!) Wet and Wild & Busche Gardens (this is not a local park!) with 14 days unlimited use ~ they may have changed this! The other thing to bear in mind is that each park charge for parking.... this can mount up ~ not sure how much it is now.
Whichever park you go to ~ you will love and you will always want to go back!!
We bought our tickets here, but that will have totally changed £/$.
I'm sure there is a big thread on this somewhere! What goes around comes around !! Simple but very true :rotfl:0 -
