i noticed a spelling error on a jobsite, and sent an email cheekily suggesting they employ me as a proof reader..
got a rather curt response saying it is showing correct, which it is (now..)
any way to see previous versions of the listing (ie, before the correction?)
-more out of interest, than a problem.. (ok, and i want to prove a point!)

No, unless you can find a google cached page. As for being employed as a proof reader, if your post is anything to go by, your level of literacy is abhorrent. It is because of your illiteracy that I'm not going to tell you how to get a cached page because I want to save you the embarassment of being proven wrong.Conor

Can try this...
http://www.archive.org/index.php
Copy/paste the link in the the text box, and press 'Take me back'.
Might be on there, might not....
Otherwise, if you looked at the link on a different computer the file could be 'cached'. Switch the browser to offline mode and try loading the page from your history.0 -
Don't worry about it. The typist probably already feels stupid, hence their silly reply
