Sale item no longer avaialble despite me ordering boxing day are argos playing games?

I hate that having to that phoning job too Torizia! I wish the warehouse could find a quicker and/or more efficient way of informing us. That said, you can check what the warehouse have in stock on the system which gives you a better idea of the chances of getting the order in before you order it.

One of the things I have noticed is that a lot of the diamond orders are being cancelled at the warehouse, not because they are being discontinued but because they are integrating most of them under new catalogue numbers. A large amount of them are also direct import lines which means the warehouse cannot put an order in to a supplier for them.

I am in tomorrow though so I will have a little check on the system - out of curiousity what size were you looking for and where are you based? I can check my area for you if you like.

If you find that you cant get the ring for the price you should have paid originally I would suggest you contact Home Retail Group as this is the big company Argos is part of. I had a problem with an Xbox 360 deal which ended that day but it said items werent in stock (long story) but anyway I emailed the HRG and I got a call the next day from the MD and she sent me £130 vouchers out to cover the rest of the deal so I didnt lose out. Worth a try.

Right and my search of the system today revealed... order should not have been taken originally because there is a till bulletin which says no orders to be taken after 8th November. There is also no stock at all in the DC.

I was able to do a search of my area (south wales and surrounding area) and found that one store locally has a Q. My store had a P in stock. Possible long shot but you can ask your local store to ring the store that has the size in stock and ask them to stock transfer it up to your store for you. Considering the circumstances, if my store was contacted I would happily send the item. PM if you wanted any details of this.

I'm in the same situation. We're trying to buy a Yamaha kepboard for our kid, and it's advertised at $50 cheaper in Toys R Us. But unfortunately, it's been out of stock for many weeks now, apparently since Xmas. But the price ticket is still advertising in store, and online it's still being advertised at it's discounted price. Went to 2 stores nearest to us, both claiming not knowing when stock will arrive.

I am wondering maybe I should email Toy R Us hq too, like you did. What did you put in your emailed?
