I am sure I suffer from this but am unsure about getting it checked out mainly becasue I have no idea about what's involved in the whole process and who pays for it?? As a poor student I have very little spare money but do have my dyslexia needs assesment next week and was wondering if this would be covered?
Many thanks!
Many thanks!

I was picked up to be at risk of irlen syndrome when I went for my Dsylexia test. I was told to be properly diagnosed with this I needed to go through my doctor or find a Optometrist willing to do the test for me.
I havent done this yet as I havent been diagnosed long, but I am planning to find out what way would be the cheapest option.0 -

As a student, will your uni not cover the cost? Or at least help you apply for funding?
I have scotopic sensitivity apparently, but think a lot of it is poppycock!
I was given this by our Dyslexia and Dysability service:Contact details of Institute of Optometry for eye test and colour overlay
