Anybody have Irlen syndrom?

Options
I am sure I suffer from this but am unsure about getting it checked out mainly becasue I have no idea about what's involved in the whole process and who pays for it?? As a poor student I have very little spare money but do have my dyslexia needs assesment next week and was wondering if this would be covered?

Many thanks!
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

  • I was picked up to be at risk of irlen syndrome when I went for my Dsylexia test. I was told to be properly diagnosed with this I needed to go through my doctor or find a Optometrist willing to do the test for me.

I havent done this yet as I havent been diagnosed long, but I am planning to find out what way would be the cheapest option.

As a student, will your uni not cover the cost? Or at least help you apply for funding?

I have scotopic sensitivity apparently, but think a lot of it is poppycock!

I was given this by our Dyslexia and Dysability service:
