should i ditch my home phone??

im starting to think my home phone line is a luxury that i know longer require,,am i right??....i have a mobile,and im also looking at various internet phone options,,,(seems to be a bit of a minefield though,,any advice), i also need to be able to send and recieve faxs, not sure how i go about that (again any advice) (im on NTL at the moment tv/phone/broadband with seperate modem )
