it will be fine, my bank statement looks like that, i had withdrawals three days in a row most of which was my fees for BR. the money you are taking is for your living expenses which is all you need to tell the OR if he queries it.

:rotfl: lol i should think they are the bank that is/was closest to being BR! :rotfl:

deedee is right though! they will close your account quicker than you can blink. you should get all of your money out asap! it is not safe there after BR.

Well that was one hell of a typo on my part wasn't it :rotfl::rotfl:

I need sleep I think, but there is so much going on on here I feel guilty to go to bed.

  • In the Halifax Bank I have - I have been trying to keep it in credit thinking the OR will let me keep it open but after reading what you have said I am definetely going to close this - I have an overdraft on this account which I have not touched - if I now touch that by buying food and paying towards the fees would that be making a problem for myself - I also have a credit card with Halifax which is again nil balance because I was trying to keep this bank open and not upset them by owing monies - now confused about what I can and can't do as regards using the money there

Do you have the fees together for your bankruptcy? If you have then use that as intended. If you need to get food which is obviously essential and have to go into the OD then don't worry.

  • yes I am desperate for food as I have cut back so much trying to get the fees together I haven't had enough money to get the basics - have been so worried about everything I spent - just thought about another question sorry - I have a bank account with Voyager Credit Union which is attached to my Union at work - I opened a savings account/current account with them when I started my job in April but have not managed to save any monies as I had to draw it out all the time to pay creditors so now left with nothing in either and had to cancel the deductions from my wages to this bank as I no longer could afford to put anything in it - would this bank be ok to keep???

Well I have a credit union account, though I opened mine after bankruptcy and they were fine with it. I think you will need to list it and hopefully the OR will say he has no interest in it.

You can always open another after you go bankrupt and I would recomend that you do, it's brilliant.

Go and buy some food, you shouldn't starve and if you need to use some for fees then do so.
