I bought a new combi TV/DVD 4 months ago for £180, came with 12 months guarantee from store. DVD is now faulty, tried to return to store to swap for same replacement but they do not stock this model anymore. Was told could exchange for an equivalent specification TV costing £230, but that I would have to pay the additional £50!
Does anyone know if this is right, as it sounds a bit unfair!
Thanks!

I don't know anything about your legal rights but as that's a 100% refund it sounds fair enough to me.0

All I want is a similar TV/DVD for the same price - would never have paid £230 (25% more!)4 one originally! I have found one in another store for only £10 more, so may ask for refund of faulty one.
Thanks for comment though0 -

As said they are in theory giving you a 100% refund. They could offer you a partial refund and deduct some money because you got X amount of months from the product0
