I got my credit check from Experian and this is what I found

ALL of my credit cards are missing.

its got my b and q account card on there, correctly showing no outstanding balance. it also doesnt show my mortgage, is that correct? it states that i have 2750 of credit available (because that is what my credit limit is for the b and q card) but doesnt show either my unused accounts for capital one, citi bank or my bt and abbey credit cards which have balances on them.

is the report which i receive online (for free) the same one that the finance institutions see? how come theres no current account on there?

i also couldnt find a way to contact them about this, other than an email which doesnt give you an opportunity to write what you're trying to say, ie that for me, they keep getting the end of my post code incorrect, even though i keep changing it on the address section, maybe this is why some of my cards are not on there, although it does show as a linked address??

i also found im no shown on the electoral role, so must do something about that

Because not all companies use all the credit reference agencies. Also, if you had credit products before CRA's started keeping information, they may not appear - I have a NatWest credit card that is years old that doesn't appear.

1 - yes, feminism is not about hating or degridation of men, its about equality between the sexes as much as possible so benefits men as well as women

2 - well the bt card was got after the b and q card and the abbey was probably only about 3 years ago, maybe a bit more

how come current accounts and mortgages dont show up then?

If they were opened before 1998 they will not show as back in the day you only got stuff on your file if you were naughty.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Depends on the type of feminism. The very name is sexist!

Current accounts will only show up if they have "credit".
Do you have a pre-arrranged overdraft?

    Not all companies use Experian.
For example my IF (Intelligent Finance) mortgage is on my Equifax file but not Experian.

To get a full picture you need to get all THREE reports.
You can get exquifax with a free trial
You can get call credit free from
    https://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk
without signing up for a trial or giving any payment details.

If you are on a free Experian trial you should be able to telephone them 9-5.
They will however tell you that they can only report what is provided to them so they won't be able to help you with missing information.

Have you moved house at all? Did you provide them you previous address?
Is it possible you moved and the missing accounts are registered under your old address?

nope, none of the stuff is older than 1998, ive been here since 1997, the mortgage was a re mortgage taken out about 2 years ago, i also remembered i have a loan with alliance and liecester about 18 months old, the only think i can think of is this thing about my post code which for some reason they put in as incorrect no matter how many times i change it on my 'personal details' but its only the last letter that is wrong

yes ive got an overdraft which i live on, no credit. also i seem to recall having a credit check done with experian via post many years ago, and it had lots of details on there then

wow, got the equifax report and its all there, every single thing, old mortgages, numerous credit cards i forgot i had. plus, what is very odd, is that this shows me as on the electoral register, experian shows me NOT on the electoral register, and yet, when I told my boyfriend about this, he said, 'but I remember you registering online recently' which reminded me that I had done, I wonder why the 2 have such different information?
