I am trying to help my mother.
She has been refused a 6.5% low rate balance transfer card
And a 0% balance transfer card
What is the best way of consolidating the below so she is making less payments to less cards. But can increase the amounts. if that makes sense.
She owes currently
Aqua: £1097.65
Comet (GE Money) £883.61
Vanquis £547.01
Lloyds TSB Credit card : £2384.52
LPF : £427.71
Barclaycard: £599.48
I am wanting to know what the interest rates are? She isn't 100% sure at the moment. I urgently want to do something for her.
I have read about a shuffle without new credit. And getting existing cards to balance transfer etc.
Anybody who can help, please do. I am despserate to help her sort this out.

I'm just a bit curious that Barclaycard have suspended her credit facililty. Any reason as to why? In more general terms, Martin's advice for a situation like this is to keep making minimum payments on all cards but throw whatever extra you can onto the card with the highest APR. If she is missing payments and cannot afford the minimum payments I would advise you to post of the DFW board.0
