Credit card transaction canceled

I bought something from a website, and paid by my credit card.
I got the confirmation email and the amount was held in the card.
However today I received a email said the transaction is canceled cos there is no that product in stock actually.
I lost no money, but my time and a good deal.
How do your guys think about that?
Should I complain to my card issuer?

It is nobody's fault that the company was out of stock - its called sod's law mate, you have no grounds to complain, sorry.However today I received a email said the transaction is canceled cos there is no that product in stock actually.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
Its nothing to do with your card issuer. The merchant requests payment, your card issuer says OK, the merchant realises they can't supply the item so they cancel the authorisation request.0
