I ma finding the opposite, they have been very quick with me
which worries me a bit. My OR does sound very young and he has applied to freeze and cancel my co-op account!! after they take £148.
Well done you too Gentry!
When did you go bankrupt??
Why on earth does the Brighton office feel they need to do this? They seem to be on a different planet to the rest of the OR network. What a hassle, seemingly for nothing. You are only going to open another cashminder account.
Just a mini rant.... moving on ..

Now I am a little further into the process (just about to get my IPA form sent back) I have actually found my OR in Brighton to be pretty helpful. They did say initially that my cooperative account would be closed down and it hasn't nor has the money they wanted to take from the account been taken out. My IPA is around 580 pounds which is fair because that is 70 percent of my access. He has been very helpful with any questions I have had and has even allowed the money I spend once a week for my counselling as part of my outgoings which I am pretty surprised about. There has to be a consequence to Bankruptcy and although it will be a struggle financially for a while it is far far better to have that than the debt companies crawling all over you. I DO believe OR'S are human

Most definitely. When Moon Beever got in touch with me to say I wasn't paying my IPA, I emailed the OR again and they responded very quickly. All in all, apart from the hassle I had with my Co-op accounts, I have found them to be quietly professional so I think I did ok OR wise. I know other people have had far worse experiences.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000
