I left my job after more then 3 years because of abuse, not nice atmosphere ,to much job loads, strees, not understanding with managers,no promotion, no pay rise, working only late shift and all weekends.
Now Job centre asking me for reasons for leaving because i will lose Jobseekers Benefit if I left voluntarily. Are my reasons good enough to get JSA?

lack of pay rise and working hours probably aren't good enough reasons.
can you get support from you GP about the stress? or do you have copies of communications with HR about the problems with the manager(s).
if not, then I would imagine you have a problem. I know a lot of people who've worked in similar environments, and all they've been able to do is hand in resignation once they've found another job.Cheryl0 -
A lot of the time it depends what your employer puts on their reply. Unfortunately the employers reply takes higher importance than the person claiming.0

No pay rise? How much did you expect to get now? No promotion? Is that a wind up?
I really wonder about this post, a smattering of maybes and a few clear "No"s.
Did you complain/do anything about abuse/stress/not nice atmosphere (what does that actually mean) - was there something clearly offensive going on? 'Cos if you need to bring pay rise and promotion in to bolster it up, you're going to stand little chance - you had a job with pay and a position, giving it up to improve your pay and promotion prospects makes no sense at all.0 -
i wouldn't worry if they sanction the benefit. I would concentrate more on how long they will sanction forYou can't beat an egg.........................NO WAIT!0

"I left my job after more then 3 years because of abuse" - might be good enough if you have witnesses,"not nice atmosphere" - neither have most jobcentres ,"to much job loads" - possibly,"strees" - possibly, "not understanding with managers" - doubt it,"no promotion" - not really, "no pay rise" - not really, "working only late shift and all weekends" - possibly.

See my answers above. It will help your case if you have someone who can back-up some of your claims. They will ask the employer, then ask for your version. The Decision section are independent of the JCP staff and decisions go the opposite way more often than you'd think. However, you have to have a strong case, not just based on 'feelings' and 'atmosphere'.Fokking Fokk!0
