Well I finally put my order in for the 26" model on the 9th of February (paid with Credit Card). Signed up with QuidCo the same evening and the order was shown as tracked within a few hours.
I'm in no real hurry for delivery so will sit back and wait.0 -
There's not many places on the web that have either the 26" or 32" sammy in stock for anything near freemans full price, so I imagine there are a lot of compabys waiting for stock. Most other sites say they are expecting stock at the end of Feb.
They will come, oh yes, they will come...0 -
I've been tracking this thread for a while. Is this deal still available? You'll Never Be Rich Working for Someone Else0

Well I didnt bother with freemans becuase I had a big agument with them. So after looking at the web. Found this one:
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/166235/art/samsung/le32t51b-32-82cm-16-9-lcd.html
Much better lcd than the freemans one and only £738 inc delivery with 15 day return policy.
Also theres a £10 off vouchers: http://www.hotukdeals.com/Article3315.phtmlKind Regards

I thought the 15 day return policy was only for Vix card members otherwise its the normal 7 day distant selling regulation. Also this model does not have a digital receiver and all Pixmania products are european models i.e they come with continental plugs and an adaptor and the English manual has to be downloaded, well it was when I purchases a DVD recorder from them. They do give a 2 year guarentee but you have to post the product back to France at your expense and then you get a refund if found to be faulty.
Read their terms and conditions carefully. They do explain everything. Unlike Freemans who don't seem to have any terms and conditions and make them up as they go along.0 -

Why is it much better? It doesn't seem to have a digi tuner does it?
If not then that is a minus already to some people0 -
Yes an integrated digital tuner would be important to people who dont want another box in their living room (with another remote) and for people who dont use it with Sky etc.
cant find any reviews on the LE32T51B, so can you explain why this tv at pixmania is much better?
Sally
Edit: from what Ive read the LE32T51B isnt a 'much' better model at all, firstly its an older model not really marketed in the UK by samsung as its apparently a 'cheapo' and hence not their main marketing focus.
Right where do I start, firstly it has a lower contrast ratio, slower response time, less powerful speakers, no 'SRS TruSurround XT' surround sound feature and no MCC 'My Colour Control' feature, no inbuilt digital freeview, apparently less 'stylish' and its wider because the speakers are mounted on the side. I wouldnt for a second chose the LE32T51B model available at pixmania over the £720 deal for the LE32R41BD especially after the rave reviews its been given.0 -

Distance Selling Regulations require the seller to cover ALL costs of returning a faulty (not just unwanted) item including shipping, so yes they have to refund your shipping costs.
Within the first 6 months they have to prove it wasnt faulty when you received it rather than you have to prove it was.0 -

As for the Freemans one, the price is actually only £675 if you go via Quido, getting an extra 5%
Do the math
I did, and 5% of £720 is £36 giving a buy price of £684. NOT £675.0 -

Now thats just being pedantic, its actually £683.9924
The math, be it slightly out is not just refering to the sum itself but the fact it's a freeview model and not analogue, not to mention the 5% of £720 that you so rightly pointed out.
I would rather have a Digi model for £683.9924 than an Analogue one for £780 or Digi for £826.
Wouldn't mind paying the extra £9 I was mislead into paying....sorry I do mean £8.9924!0
