Samsung 32" HD Ready LCD TV (HD Ready) for £675 delivered?!!!

    Simple question for those in the know, but i read a review that you can't record from the digital channel on the Samsung, anyone know if this is true. Was going to take my freeview box back, but i might need it again....????

    check on AVFORUMS it's an acknowledged fault with this LCD. However there are people who report being able to record, so it may be a firmware issue.

    Why would this be a fault? Surely if you want to record freeview you would normally want to record an alternative to the programme you are watching. Just use a separate freeview box they are only £30 after all.

    It's a fault that Samsung is aware of but can't fix.
  • Quick update on my situation, Freemans have now taken the money from my account (never thought I'd be happy to see £630 going out) so now (hopefully) its a case of waiting for delivery. :)


    The money has also been taken from my account, I gave freemans a ring this afternoon, who said the order had gone through, I asked for an estimated delivery date, they said, the tv was out of stock and not expected back in until 2nd May OMG..I will believe I am getting this tv, when I can actually get my sticky mitts on it.

    Which one did you order? 26, 32, 32Freeview?
  • Hi ive just 'jumped' in and ordered the 26'' version. I imputted the codes that are available; 30% plus quidco - however my emailed order confirmation still shows ...........

    Does this mean i will not get it with the discounts ??? Prior to sending it did say that discounts will not be applied until the final product arrives? Seems a very strange way of goin about things :confused:

    Please can anyone tell me if this is correct; otherwise thats a TV being sent right back !

    There's only 1 code to put, the 30% one
    Normally if you don't see the discount at the final checkout/confirmation page after you've entered payment details, you shouldn't confirm the order but try again by clearing your cookies

    i have delted cookies and window washed however after entering the code it really doesnt seem to deduct any discounts; has anyone else tried recently ???

    I reasonably sure im doing this correctly (said the actress to the bishop!??!)
