Hi
I am hoping to book a break at center parcs for half term but am hanging on in case they have any special offers on or free upgrades. Also I was disgusted when I rang to book last week and they wanted to charge me 16 quid for using my credit card, so I decided whether I got a bargain or not to wait until a couple of weeks and use my debit cards.
Anyway anyone out there got any codes? 16-20th February 09.
cheers

i don't think they usually issue deals for half term / holiday weeks as they are fully booked anyway....
but if there are any late availability the code will be on the center parks website under special offers..

You might want to pay for part of the break with your credit card to get Section 75 protection and the other part by debit card. The rate companies are folding at the moment, nothing is certain.0 -
We have used CP on numerous occasions, mainly Eleveden Forest, but have never gone in half term mainly due to the huge hike they inflict in their prices for School Holidays. People also told me that going in half-term week means that to book anything you have to be up at the crack-of-dawn to get anything as it all goes very quickly. Apparently queues even form to get into the Swimming Pool. My advice to you would be to (don't know your childrens ages) is to pick a really cheap period in jan/feb/march,take the kids out of school and go for it. It then becomes so much more enjoyable not having to queue for everything.
I notice also over the years that standards have slipped, less staff on duty seems to be the main issue as tables tend not to get cleared, and at times it has looked quite shabby and 'tired' in its appearance. Once again PROFIT seems to be CP'S main objective rather than Customer Care.
Apparently the European ones are a lot better in many respects. Not experienced one but if I go again I think it will be one across the water.RoMaN CaMeL0 -
Just a litle tip when ringing Center Parcs. Use this head office number 01623 821 600. It's got all the options to speak to different departments and even general enquires. Saves money rather than using their 0844 number.0

savcp is the current code but no real offers at half term, we were looking to go this weekend and called up to see if they had any late deals and was told no the only deals they have are the ones on the internet and they dont do late deals0

You'll be unlikely to get a deal at half term. Also this year the Holland, Belgium and France have the same half term as us so the savings there are not as good. Also with the weak pound against the Euro it's reduced the savings.
However I do like the European ones and they are usually a bit cheaper. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
