Aqua Card Changes Terms

Have just noticed on my most recent statement.

Aqua card have changed the 'minimum payment' balance to 1%. Therefore, if you have a high enough balance, then you will notice that your minimum payment will no longer reduce your balance month on month, rather, you will notice an increase in the amount you owe to Aqua.

I never received any advance notice of this, but was confirmed by customer services.

Well it has changed for new applicants:

If the balance is less than £5 then you must repay the full amount. If the balance is £5 or more, you must repay the greater of 1% of the amount you owe us or an amount equal to the total of any Credit Card Repayments Cover premiums, Interest (or the minimum interest charge), overlimit and late payment fees plus £5.
