Hi,
We are thinking of going to Keycamp Berny Riviere, La Croix du Vieux Pont this year for our holiday.
Has anyone ever been here? If so is there a lot to do in Paris and surrounding areas?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, we've been here twice. It's a great site although not as large as many. Great lake on site for fishing for the men, a couple of nice swimming pools although the outdoor one is a little boring as it is simply a rectangle with no exciting flumes etc for the kids.
The site is also located in the middle of nowhere, with not a lot going on in the surrounding area. Paris is quite a trek but definitely worth a day or two for visits. Disney is about a thirty minute drive although the site do also offer a coach service. Compiegne, the nearest large "town" has a large out-of-town shopping centre which helps those with the shopping bug. There is a beautiful chateau fairly close by, called Pierrefitte or Pierrefonds - something like that - which is definitely worth a visit.
Another site not too far from Paris is Les Etangs Fleuris, which is an even smaller site but this is closer to Disney.
Depends what you're looking for - we've been to lots of different sites throughout France so feel free to ask about anywhere different! We have actually booked to stay at La Croix du Vieux Pont for five days at Easter as my husband loves fishing and this site seems to have the best stocked lake.0 -

We stayed at Maisons Leffitte last September and a wonderfull time, there is nothing to do there on site, but the town is great to buy all foods and drinks.I paid an amazing £180 and not being mean we like to cook our own food and also good to be in the disney park, but also good to get out at the end of the day!!!
There is a cark boot sale on Sunday and I would definatly go to the Indian on the way to the train station, does not get any better than sitting beside the river seine with a chicken madras, glass of red and two snoring kids!!!!0
