TESCO arghhhhh

After returning home yesterday from visiting a relative in hospital I duly checked my emails to find one from tesco rewarding me with an e-coupon to the value of £20 to spend on groceries via tesco. com. this was awarded because i had purchased white goods from tesco.com within the last 3 months. (which i truly have done) As i had only just returned home i didn't have chance to order groceries last night and the coupon was valid until the end of the month so knew i had no rush. This morning i decided to start my order only to receive another email from tesco to say they had cancelled the e coupon as it had been sent to me in error, and as compensation they offered me half price delivery.
The original email was dated the 9th january and the cancellation dated 13th january. so if i had not been away from the computer i would now have a well stocked fridge, free of charge.
Of course i've emailed customer service but doubt very much they will honour the offer.
SO thanks Mr T i will perhaps shop at asda

tesco are very good, i had a problem with my clubcard vouchers - i never received them and found out that someone else had been spending them - and they honoured them, so hopefully if you get assertive with them, they will honour your £20 e-coupon!
