Refund from credit card not Atol

Can anyone tell me if I can claim a refund from my credit card company under the Consumer Credit Act if I have been waiting to get a refund from ATOL for 3 months and they say they don't know when I will be paid because they have so many claims.

Could I nominate the credit card company to receive the refund and ask the credit company to pay me now?

Any help would be appreciated.
