Anyone ever had an ACL reconstruction Knee surgery?

I had my ACL done on the NHS back in August and I feel like I'm recovering quite nicely although it does feel quite uncomfortable (not pain) sometimes especially in the cold.
The physio classes I have been to are quite good but the actual physio herself is a bit loony and sometimes doesn't answer my questions properly and keeps forgetting how long it's been since my op.
I was just wondering who's had it done and when they got back to more intensive activities as I'd like to start playing squash and golf (twisting knee when swinging) but not sure if it's safe to yet.
I'm running on a treadmill at about 11-12kph for 2 mins on 2 mins walking intervals atm

None of us can answer that question, regardless of whether we've had the same op. Because it won't have been the same op, each knee is different, and so is our recovery.I was just wondering who's had it done and when they got back to more intensive activities as I'd like to start playing squash and golf (twisting knee when swinging) but not sure if it's safe to yet.
Please take advice from your surgeon, GP or physiotherapist.
MEDICAL ADVICE
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.Signature removed for peace of mind0
