Network cards - urgent, quick question

Hi all,

Networking isn't my best area. I'm looking at a Dell laptop. What is the difference between a Dell™ Wireless 1395 (802.11 b/g) Mini PCI Card and Dell™ Wireless 1505 Wireless-N MiniPCI Card?

I assume they could both connect to any router/hub?

Thank you

  • The 1505 connects with b/g and n which gives better range and a stronger signal strength than b/g, but only if the hardware you are connecting it too supports it and is set up to use it.

If you want to futureproof it's connectivity, you should buy the 1505.
