Help please with which scart lead goes where ?!!!
I have - freeview box, DVD player, video recorder and a TV with one scart socket.
Also two scart leads and a three way scart selector with lead attached.
Think I've got all the 'stuff' but don't know which lead goes where.
Is there anybody that can explain to me, in simple terms ( for a simple mind!)
how to connect it all? Please.

I need a little extra info from you.
How many scarts has your Freeview box?
Is your 3 way scart selector RGB or not?0 -

Connect your freeview box, DVD player and video recorder to the 3 way scart selector, then connect the 3 way scart connector to the tv.0

Thats true and if the freeview box has two scarts and you wish to record from freeview to vcr connect that to the vcr.smsmasters wrote:Connect your freeview box, DVD player and video recorder to the 3 way scart selector, then connect the 3 way scart connector to the tv.0

Hi jem 16,
Freeview has two scart sockets - one VCR/DVD and other TV.
No markings on selector re RGB so I don't know. Ta:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -
I would connect the Freeview box(TV scart) and DVD player to your scart box, then connect the scart box to the TV.
Then connect the VCR to the Freeview VCR scart socket so you can record from the Freeview box.
Make sure you go into set up on both Freeview box and DVD player and select RGB as your output. Hopefully your scart box is RGB enabled - what make is it? Presumably you have buttons so that you can select which input you are watching? Do you have a button marked RGB?0
